Meet Our Counselors

We are committed to supporting every student's academic achievement, career readiness, and social-emotional well-being. Our goal is to help students develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed both in school and beyond.

On any given day, our counseling team may facilitate conflict resolution sessions, deliver classroom guidance lessons, provide individual or small-group counseling, and coordinate school-wide initiatives such as anti-bullying programs, Career Day, Red Ribbon Week, and other student enrichment activities. We also collaborate with teachers and staff to support local assessments, assist with Section 504 services, and coordinate state assessments, including TPRI/Tejas Lee, TELPAS, and STAAR.

At RYSS Brownsville, we believe that parents and families are invaluable partners in every student's success. We encourage you to reach out whenever you have questions, concerns, or need support regarding your child's educational experience. We are dedicated to working alongside you to help your child thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and in preparation for future career opportunities.
